Ms. Mary-Louise Henson
Prior to receiving my M.A. degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 1992, I taught grades 2 and 3 in private schools in Massachusetts and Washington, D.C., raised two children, worked in the fitness industry and co-owned a fitness business.
I am able to address a wide range of clinical issues in psychotherapy including:
Relationship challenges, couples therapy, communication skills, depression, anxiety, parenting, divorce, grief and loss, stress and weight management, eating disorders, aging, and health challenges, addictions, drug and alcohol abuse and PTSD/trauma.
My clinical work combined with life experience has encouraged me to combine a pragmatic, solution-focused approach to promote behavioral change with a commitment to probide a corrective relational experience.
